Wow, I feel free this morning~~~~~~~I am someplace with NO WiFi so I can't get on my Facebook pages. This is the most freeing experience I have had in days. I guess everybody goes through the same frenetic beginnings, just trying to figure out what the heck is going on!!!! I made it to bed at 1:00 last night and that was 2 hours earlier than the night before. This is not good for my health :-).......sleep deprivation is not good for someone who is trying to recover from 7 weeks of cold then bronchitis. I still have a big black and blue area on my arm that is left over from them "just trying" to get the IV in for the iodine cat scan of my chest. Heck, I would have just been happier to have flashed them!!!!!!!!!! We are convinced the La Paz Hospital in Parker is just in it for the $ and then they ship everyone to Havasu and get a kickback on the ambulance ride. Seriously, I am rejoicing in the fact that I am well and healthy but a little pi%#&* that all of the $ was spent twice at 2 different hospitals. Thank God for health insurance and that I was reinstated....talk about humbling gratitude......
We didn't have any milk for breakfast so we are on a mission.....I also wore my flip flops so If we passed a place for a pedicure I would stop and guess what....we found a brand new place so I am off to that next!!!!!! It will hope fully be an AHHHHHHHHH!
I think my kids cows are supposed to arrive today at their ranch and I feel like a 5 year old waiting for a new pet. I know, they're not pets but it just sounds so neat to me.....another one of those things on my fantasy list~~~~~~~~~~~~~I WILL drive that tractor when we go back up there before we leave for home. Oh, home.....Bonnie sent pics of the harbour yesterday......Oh is it beautiful, all frozen over. Just think, we may see that next winter........we will see.
My Freddie is not doing well and he really seems to be shutting down. We just can't put him down because he is not in pain....all I can do is love him right now. My hubby was in tears yesterday. I love that man and his sensitivity; everything else too except his inability to keep his office area in order even after we had the desk built in the motorhome. I must admit there is knitting everywhere but it is easy to return it to its spot. Heck, I haven't even had time to knit as I can't seem to pull myself away from the computer or the Wii Chinese Checkers. Just think, we could have found a game for $2 or $3 at a thrift store LOL>>>>>
Did I actually give you the impression that I don't like the desert. There is such stark beauty here in the foothills and our campsite, is soooooo pretty with huge spaces, quiet, and clean bathrooms. We usually use our shower but we don't have sewer hookups so we are using the holding tank for my washing machine which I am very attached to!!!
We are invited to WC and Leslie's kids house for a barbeque tonight which is very sweet. Tomorrow we are supposed to hit the Apache Trail drive to Roosevelt Dam as they put in for a day off from baby duty or doodie. It is 22 miles of unpaved State Hwy. along the river with mostly a 1 lane road so one leaves from Tortilla Flats after having lunch sitting on horse saddle bar stools. Ouch!!! I am anticipating already. Maybe they will have a side saddle...hee hee. What price fun:-0. It would be silly to go in 2 cars so we will be in the back seat soooooooo I will let you know how we fare WC IS a Texas driver......
Chet reminded me I have a problem with the timed games on FB as I don't have a mouse on my Mac....he had to disable all but the touchpad as I can sure mess things up so easily. Chet just told me my typing has really improved and I said it has as long as I keep my eyes glued to my fingers.....you would be amazed what comes out on the screen even while watching them~~~~~~~~~
Gotta close and head off to my tosies care; whoopie.
Reconnecting with old friends has been fun and I have made a good friend I don't even know yet through my extremely talented friend Heidi in NL. I hope to meet Audrey this summer. Oh, how I wish you could see what we see and experience THE experience of NL. It is splendiferous>>>>
I'm baaaaack just to say I had a marvelous pedicure :-) :-)
