Lance Camper on 4X4 Ford

Our 1st 13 Months

We met our dream ride on April 11, 2003.  An 11′ Lance Camper on a 1 Ton, Ford 4X4.  Gaye’s sons loaned to us for a couple of weeks as her birthday present.

We fell in love, bought it from them, and drove it home to Portland, Oregon.

11 More Years of Wonder...

After 13 months wandering the U.S. from Coast to Coast, we decided we needed real chairs to sit in on rainy days.  We traded our Lance and pickup in on a 2003 Fleetwood Revolution 38B.

It served us without fail for 100,000 miles all around North America.  We saw all of the lower 48 States and Eastern Canada.

Newfoundland & Our Twillingate Home

In 2007, we visited the Maritime Provinces.  After a month in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, we took the 14 hour ferry ride to the East Coast of Newfoundland.

As we stood on the bow of the ferry, I held my wife close and had the eerie feeling we were heading home.
