This building is the SUF Hall (Society of United Fisherman) at 149 Main Street, Twillingate, Newfoundland, Canada As if we didn't have enough on our plate with the new summer home, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy this lovely old building. It was moved to this location in 1869 from a location on the harbour about a half mile away. Look at the pictures of the inside to see what makes it so special... :) We’ve fallen in love with Newfoundland-Twillingate in particular. So much so, we've bought a summer home. Take a look at our jewel in the link to the right... No buyer's remorse for us!! Each day is a delight. The house holds more treasures than we'd dared dream. The home, the land, and the view are right for us. So many forces have led us here and come together, that we just couldn't avoid walking through the door Life had placed before us. “The Rock” is a world apart. The land amazes us and the people here (Newfies) are warm and open. We'll share where we've been and where we'd like to explore. Ideas and suggestions are always welcome.
